Dee Bar Bright ~ does anyone think this is a beautiful horse? Photo taken at Castle Rock, CO in 1975. He looked a lot like Pasamonte Paul. This is an old fashioned "unretouched" photo. Was this about as good as it needed to get? He was a son of Bright Rebel by Rebel Cause out of Me Bright. His dam was out of a Bright Bar daughter -- made him a double bred Bright Eyes. He was a runner. Never heard much from him although he was a dream to photograph. Where did all these good horses go? It boils down to management and marketing. Some can do one -- the famous horses are owned by people who can do both.
