Impressive, Front View

Impressive, front view. If a horse was too fat I normally shot from a low angle so they would look taller. If they had white feet I would darken the foreground chemically so the white feet showed well.

This shot has my little Longhorn logo in the bottom right corner. I always thought photographers who splattered their name large on the photos were forcing their customers to promote their name. I was proud of my work but chose to be subtle with my name, or else no name at all showing. The goal was to look at the great horse photographed.

Impressive was easy to photograph from every angle. He did not have a weak angle. Notice the veins in the inside his gaskin -- that is perfect light for a front angle.
