Sporting over 102" tip to tip of curled, twisted horn, Sequoia Man is the State Fair of Nebraska Reigning Champion All Age Steer. He has won horn measuring contests in several states, competing with satellite national competitions. He was Horn Showcase Champion, and also won the Texas World Show. His life capture of trophies would fill a wheel barrow.

Sequoia Man will be exhibited for Longhorn Tours of Dickinson Cattle Company during the tour season. His spread is superior to every DCC critter and only a few celebrated steers have ever equaled or exceeded his record spread.

Sequoia Man is an AI son of G-Man out of Shadow Sequoia by The Shadow. He was born at DCC 3-29-2001 and was purchased at age 3 for a show steer, by Wayne Forester, of St Augustine, Florida. After several Championships he was sold at a Texas Auction to Hudson Longhorns of Indiana, then to Ron Garrison of Mississippi and on to Joe Sedlacek of Kansas. His accumulation of show competition mileage is estimated to be over 20,000 miles traveling through 17 states.

Longhorn Head to Tail Tours of Dickinson Cattle Company provides a nose-to-nose narrated bus tour of huge herds of Texas Longhorns, Dutch Buelingo and African Watusi cattle. Tours are by appointment for groups of 10 or more through October. Each tour guest will be able to see, and if your are really lucky, actually hand feed the Champion -- Sequoia Man.
