Everyone who owns a bull wants to sell semen for $200, $300 or even $1000 per straw. Don't let these exorbitant prices cause discouragement for using AI for rapid herd improvement. Everyone has alternatives. Here are some economical, different, and possibly smart directions to go with sire selections that are a little off the main grid.

Westward Ho semen $15. He is a favorite for show calves.
He sires excellent conformation and black all over
the arena. He is the last great son of Jet Jockey out of a huge
