At Dickinson Cattle Co we are a little excited....no....really excited.
History: Jam Box was born 4-15-2019 at DCC. Not realizing his potential, at an early age, he was sold 12-14-2019 to Ralph Dillard, Freedom Ranch. Ralph took him to the Horn Showcase and won every division for 4 years. When early attempts to purchase him back had failed semen was purchased from Jam Box. In the Summer of 2024 30 straws were implanted in DCC cows resulting in 22 calves born in 2025, six bulls and 16 heifers from conventional semen. These calves are about a year old now.
With great joy, Ralph allowed DCC to purchase Jam Box in January of 2025. Semen was collected and available at $100 per straw, introductory rate. Today conventional semen is $150 and available in Australia, Canada and the USA.
